Rachel is the Manager, Global Diversity & Inclusion, Culture & Engagement at Parkland Fuel. In her current role, she is focused on creating cultural and systemic solutions for a workforce of over 5,000 employees across Canada, the United States and 23 Caribbean countries. Throughout the past five years, Rachel has navigated the space of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) from various perspectives including corporate communications, grassroots leadership, sponsorship, internal-facing strategies, customer-facing solutions, and cultural shifts.

In 2019 she was named one of Calgary’s Top 40 Under 40 by Avenue Magazine due to both her work in D&I and her volunteer commitments. For the past three years Rachel has acted as the Board President for Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society, a charity that services over 2,400 wildlife patients a year through a fully accredited veterinary hospital and rehabilitation centre. She is also the founding Board Vice President at Imagine Cities, a cities research and innovation nonprofit advancing better city-building for people and planet. 

Rachel has obtained several awards for her work in D&I and communications including two Gold Quill Awards from IABC, a Distinction Award from the Advertising Club of Edmonton, and a Diversity & Inclusion Award from PR News. She completed her BA in Communications and Culture at the University of Calgary and her MA in Professional Communication at Royal Roads University.
