We are just 7 days away from our first-ever SocialHRCamp in Omaha, Nebraska. Needless to say, we’re pumped! Then again, we’re always pumped for each Camp we do. This one is going to be unique as it’s taking place in a city that has the smallest population (by a long shot) of any Camp to date – Vancouver, Toronto, San Francisco, Singapore, Boston, and soon to be Chicago. But, this Camp is going to have quite a few “firsts”, some of which you already know about, notably IgniteHR. Before we get to the other really cool “first” we have some important details to mention.
Aureus Group Jumps on the Sponsorship Bandwagon
As they say, it’s never too late! We’re ecstatic to welcome Omaha-based Aureus Group to the list of local sponsors, that already includes Quantum Workplace, Red Branch Media, VentureTech and One Source. One of our strategies from day 1 when SocialHRCamp was founded, was to include as many local vendors as possible. This Camp next week in Omaha clearly achieves this goal, and we couldn’t be more ecstatic.
The Agenda Has Been Updated
As we normally do, we have gone through a couple of iterations of the agenda, and have recently made an update to the agenda. The agenda as it currently stands is 99% final (view here). The topics are fantastic, complement each other nicely and will maximize audience engagement.
The Final Update… Drum Roll Please…
For the first time in SocialHRCamp history, the HR Certification Institute has approved SocialHRCamp Omaha for 3.5 credit hours!!! This is absolutely fantastic news, and further solidifies the credibility and value SocialHRCamp offers. Not only will attendees have the opportunity to learn many new skills, and obtain cutting edge ideas, they will leave with 3.5 hours credit hours towards their HRCI certifications. This is, without a doubt, a win-win situation.
This Camp is shaping up to be another excellent one — diverse HR/Recruitment audience, top-notch speakers and solid support from the local HR/Recruitment vendor community. Let’s rock this thing!
