Samantha Sandell has been with Monster Canada for almost 10 years. In that time she has had the opportunity to train, coach and mentor well over 10,000 recruiters, HR professionals, hiring managers, directors, along with many, many others. She started in 2003 in Monster’s Member Services Department where she supported the entire Canadian Enterprise Sales Team and their customers. She spent 1.5 years learning the business from the ground up before accepting a position as an Account Executive for Monster’s sister company. In this position for 6 months, she project-managed the execution of strategic recruitment campaigns (online, print and video). She then moved into a Client Trainer role. Using her in-depth knowledge of the industry, she was responsible for onsite visits teaching Monster clients how to effectively utilize technology to save time and streamline their processes. In January 2007, she assumed leadership for the entire client training department in Canada. Fully bilingual, Samantha still trains Monster customers across Canada and the US on maximizing their site experience. She has also developed and hosted several Online Recruitment Best Practices seminars that help Monster clients maximize their ROI. In addition to this, she has hosted similar sessions for members of HRPA, HR Tech, HR.com and many other professional organizations.
