Jenna Jacobson is a social media researcher, educator, and learner. Jenna is currently conducting doctoral research at the University of Toronto – Faculty of Information. Her PhD research centres on online self-presentation, and the use of social media and digital technologies to engage with community. Jenna understands the millennial experience having taught over 1,100 students at university and having conducted research with 20-somethings who are entering into the workforce. She holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Information and Technoculture from the University of Western Ontario. She is also the co-organizer of the Social Media and Society Conference.
