James Thomas is the VP of Marketing at Talemetry responsible for driving product marketing, brand strategy and execution, go to market programs, lead generation, pricing, digital marketing, and social media marketing.
Prior to joining Talemetry, James worked in a wide variety of organizations from high growth startups to the largest software companies in the world. Most recently, James was the VP of Product Marketing for enterprise Business Analytics at SAP. James led numerous high-growth initiatives at Crystal Decisions and Business Objects prior to the acquisition by SAP including new product rollout, competitive intelligence programs, corporate development and acquisitions, pricing committee, brand strategy, and industry influencer awareness activities through press, analyst, and investor relations. James also drove numerous strategic projects including general manager of the SAP Crystal division focused on driving the SME channel products and launching the first SAP BI OnDemand SaaS offering. James lives in Vancouver, BC and holds a B.Comm from the University of Victoria.
