Claire Crossley

Women between the ages of 40-64 experience career disruptions as a result of health issues, caregiving, or loss of employment either voluntarily (quitting) or involuntarily (fired or laid-off).  Research demonstrates women in this age group face additional challenges when re-entering the workforce. With support from The Fund for Gender Equality (a collaboration between Community Foundations of Canada and the Equality Fund, with support from the Government of Canada), Claire Crossley founded Next Chapter Career in response to these challenges and launched a local survey in early 2021. Next Chapter Career was also founded as the result of Claire’s personal journey following a lengthy career disruption.
