Toronto-Based Tech Start-Up WIRL.ca Joins SocialHRCamp

We are excited to announce that Toronto-based tech start-up WIRL (“What It’s Really Like”) will be joining SocialHRCamp Toronto 2014 as a co-sponsor. WIRL recently launched onto the scene with a radically-simple, mobile-friendly employee feedback tool. Not only does the tool enable continuous feedback between employees, managers and their organization, it also empowers organizations to make data-driven people decisions using performance analytics from a simple (yet data rich) dashboard. The ultimate objective of the tool is to help organizations improve levels of employee engagement, which will translate into improved business performance and cost savings from increased employee retention. They have a large release scheduled for Q4 2014 which will continue to push the HR technology boundaries, and integrate seamlessly into the lives of employees and their organizations.

One of the core objectives of SocialHRCamp is to provide sponsorship accessibility to HR and Recruitment technology start-ups who typically do not have the resources to cover traditionally high sponsorship rates. The revamped sponsorship model for SocialHRCamp makes this investment an invaluable one for WIRL.

WIRLWIRL Co-Founder, Greg Pantelic who also founded the HR+Tech Professionals T.O. group in Toronto shares a similar perspective to SocialHRCamp Founder Jeff Waldman, which is the key to driving increased adoption in the HR Community is through education and high-quality conversation. With so many excellent emerging HR/Recruitment software platforms on the market today, the key issues aren’t so much a lack of innovation, but ensuring the HR Community knows these platforms actually exist.

“We consider ourselves privileged to have the opportunity to present and co-sponsor this year’s SocialHRCamp. We have learned so much from the employees and organizations that we have touched that we’re excited to give back and share these experiences with the HR Community”.
